About Us
M&B Environmental, Inc. (M&B) provides operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities (including pretreatment facilities) for municipalities, industries and institutions.
Staffed with experience-licensed operators and trained mechanics, M&B offers various types of Contract Operations from a simple labor contract to a full-service contract (see Professional Services).
Our History
MAB Environmental Services began operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities in 1999 providing the same services that we offer today with an emphasis on customizing a service contract to meet our customer’s specific financial and/or regulatory needs.
In 2012, MAB Environmental, Inc. acquired the former Pennsylvania division of Applied Water Management that has a long history of Contract Operations dating back to 1966. It was one of the first companies in Pennsylvania that “specialized in the operation and applied technology of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment facilities”.
Back then, the company had the vision to provide its knowledge and skills to meet the institution of the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) with an understanding of the “subsequent growth of state regulations, sophisticated plant designs, and the increasing costs of operating a treatment plant”.
Over the years, M&B has managed up to 165 service contracts throughout Pennsylvania and established itself as a professional Contract Operations service provider.
